In plain words
One line per claim this document makes. Each is a restatement of a numbered section below rather than a softening of it, and the section is what governs.
- Submitting
- Free, and it never buys you a date. A person reviews every submission before the scheduler dates it.
- Skip the line — $9
- A one-off charge for queue priority. It buys the next free slot, never a rank and never a date.
- Featured — $19
- Queue priority plus a marked row. Boards are still ranked by votes alone.
- Refunds
- Full refund any time before your launch is scheduled, and automatically if review rejects it.
- Frozen boards
- Once a day is snapshotted it is never recomputed — that is what makes the badge safe to print.
- Votes
- One per person per product. Bought, traded or automated votes get discarded, and the listing may go with them.
- What we are not
- Not a reviewer, an auditor or a certifier. A listing is not an endorsement of anything.

ShipWall is a public launch board for products built with AI coding tools, operated by Compound Labs ("we", "us"). By submitting a product, voting, subscribing or paying for a queue upgrade you agree to these terms.
1. What ShipWall is
A directory. Ten products are scheduled to launch each day; each gets a permanent listing page, and the board for a period ranks them by the votes cast during that period. We are not a reviewer, an auditor or a certifier. A listing is not an endorsement, and nothing on this site is a statement that a listed product is safe, functional, secure or fit for any purpose.
2. Submitting a product
Submitting is free and always will be. A submission does not buy you a launch date and does not guarantee one: every submission is reviewed by a person, and we may reject or remove anything at our discretion — including products that are unreachable, parked, are somebody else’s work, or exist to farm links. Approved submissions are dated in queue order, subject to a minimum lead time and ten slots a day.
You must have the right to list what you submit. You keep all ownership of your product, your name, your logo and your copy; by submitting them you give us a non-exclusive licence to display them on ShipWall, in the daily digest, and on our own social accounts, for as long as the listing stands. You can ask us to remove a listing at any time from the maker email on file.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you declare, including which tools built the product and how much of it you hand-edited. We do not verify either. That the board asks at all is the point of it; deliberately misdeclaring is grounds for removal.
3. Voting
One vote per person per product, rate-limited per address. Buying, trading, incentivising or automating votes is not allowed, and we may discard votes, remove a listing, or both, where we believe it has happened. Vote counts and rankings are provided as they are; we make no promise that any particular ranking survives moderation.
4. Paid queue upgrades
Two one-off payments are offered, and they buy exactly what they say. Skip the line ($9 USD) moves an approved submission to the front of the queue so it takes the next free slot instead of waiting behind everything already booked. Featured launch ($19 USD) does that and additionally marks the row as featured on its launch-day board and on its permanent listing. Neither tier buys a placing: the ranking is by votes alone, and no payment moves a row up a board.
Both are one-time charges, not subscriptions; nothing recurs and there is nothing to cancel. Neither one buys a specific date, a rank, a number of votes, an amount of traffic, or exemption from review — a paid submission is reviewed on the same terms as a free one, and if it is rejected at review the payment is refunded in full. Paid position is queue priority only; it never alters the ranking of a board, because a board that could be bought is not worth embedding a badge from.
Refunds: if we have not yet scheduled your launch, email hello@thecompound.tech and we will refund you in full. Once the product has launched, the thing you paid for has been delivered and the payment is non-refundable. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s own terms.
5. The badge
Listings that have been scheduled get an embeddable badge served from our origin. You may put it on your own site and marketing materials for the product it refers to, unmodified. It states only results from a frozen board — a closed period whose ranking has been snapshotted — and never a provisional one, which is why we can let you print it. Do not alter the artwork, do not claim a result the badge does not state, and do not use ShipWall’s name or mark to imply we endorse, certify or recommend your product.
6. The digest
The daily email contains the board that was frozen that morning. It is free, it carries a one-click unsubscribe, and we do not sell or rent the list.
7. Availability and changes
ShipWall is provided as-is and as-available. We may change how the board ranks, how many slots a day exist, what the queue upgrades cost, or any other part of the product. Frozen boards are the exception: once a period has been snapshotted we do not recompute it, because a badge on your site quoting a result we later changed would be a claim we made you publish and then broke.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost revenue, or for anything arising from a product you found here. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it, which for most users is nothing.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of the State of New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
